posts under the World Bank funded India Integrated Coastal Zone
Management (ICZM) Project to be implemented in the Gulf of Kutch/
Khambhat region. (Duration: 3 years).
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Laboratory Superintendent (Bio-Physical Laboratory) -> Ph.D (life Sci./Analytical Chemistry) or M.E./M. Tech (Instrumentation). Min 2 Yrs exp. of Scientific work including use of sophisticated lab equipments (HPLC, PCR, GC, TOC, AAS, Heavy Metal Ana. etc.)
Research Associate (Marine Fauna) -> Ph.D (Marine Biology/Zoology/ Marine Sci./Ecology) + Minimum 1 Year as Sr. Research Fellow.
Research Associate (Envt. Parameter) -> Ph.D (Envt.Sci./Life Sci.) or M.E/M.Tech (Envt. Engineer).
Statistician/ Analyst -> M.Sc. (Statistic) or M.Com (Statistic). Knowledge of statistic software and research design/methodology.
JRF (Marine Flora) -> M.Sc. (Botany/ Forestry/Marine Sci.). Essential masters level knowledge of Mangroves, Halophytes, Sea grasses, Sea weeds.
JRF (Envi. Parameter) -> M.Sc.(Envt.Sci.) from recognized University. Essential knowledge of using sophisticated and field equipments and analysis procedures.
JRF Marine Fauna -> M. Sc.(Zoology/Marin e Sci./ Life Sci.) from recognized university. Essential knowledge of marine fauna (invertebrates, mammals, arthropoda, mollusks, fish, etc.
Technical Assistant (Envt. Parameter) -> B.Sc. / M.Sc.(Envt. Sci.). Essential knowledge of using sophisticated and field equipments.
Technical Assistant (Marine Fauna) -> B.Sc./M.Sc.(Zoology/ Marine Sci.) Essential knowledge of marine fauna (invertebrates, mammals, arthropoda, mollusks, fish, etc.
Technical Assistant (Marine Flora) -> Sc./M.Sc.CBotany/F orestry). Essential knowledge of Mangroves, Halophytes, Sea grasses, Sea weeds.
Laboratory Technician -> M.Sc. (Life Sci./Analytical Chemistry/Envt. Sci./B iotechnology). 2 years as Lab Technician Having adequate skills of using & maintaining sophisticated equipments (HPLC,PCR,GC,TOC,etc).
Laboratory Assistant -> B.Sc. / M.Sc.(Life Sci. / Analytical Chemistry/Envt. Sci./Biotechnology). 2 years as Lab Assistant.
