Educational Qualifications:
Senior Library & Information Assistant -> Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, Bachelor's degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science of a recognized University/ Institution, professional experience in a library with good standing or certificate in computer applications from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
Technical Assistant 'A' -> (a) 1st class bachelor degree in any area of Life Sciences OR Physics and (b) one year laboratory experience. Desirable - Experience in Electron Microscopy or Confocal Microscopy.
Technician 'A' / Lab Assistant 'A' -> (a) SSC/10th Standard with 50% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration or equivalent OR (b) SSC with 3 years experience OR (c)HSC with 2 years experience. Desirable - Diploma in Electronics or job experience in maintenance and handling of sophisticated laboratory equipment's.
Driver Ordinary Grade -> 8th Standard passed with valid driving license (for both light and heavy vehicles) and 5 years experience in routine repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- for the post of Sr. Lib. & Inf. Assistant and Rs.50/- for other posts, payable only by Demand Draft, in favor of ARI, Pune. SC & ST candidates are exempted for payment of application fee.

Scientist F ->
(1) Essential - (i) 1st class M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry and (ii) Minimum 12 years experience in the field of Natural Product Chemistry/bioprospecting as evidenced by high quality publications in reputed journals and/or Patents.
(2) Desirable - Ph.D. in relevant subject, Knowledge of at least one foreign language (other than English).
Scientist C ->
(1) Essential - (i) 1st class M. Sc. in any area of Life Sciences and (ii) 4 years R&D experience in the field of Developmental Biology/ Cell Biology/ Molecular Genetics with expertise/ interest in signal transduction cell death and Cancer/ cellular homeostasis mechanisms.
(2) Desirable - Ph.D. in relevant subject, Knowledge of at least one foreign language (other than English).
Scientist B (Genetics Group) ->
(1) Essential - 1st class M. Sc. Agri. or Botany.
(2) Desirable - (i) Ph.D. in relevant subject, (ii) Specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding. (iii) Knowledge of at least one foreign language (other than English), (iv) 2-3 years research experience of breeding cereal crops preferably in wheat.
Scientist B (Geology Group) ->
(1) Essential - 1st class M.Sc. in Geology.
(2) Desirable - (i) Ph.D. in Geology, (ii) Specialization in Invertebrate Palaeontology, (iii) Knowledge of at least one foreign language (other than English), (iv) research experience in the research laboratory after obtaining M.Sc.
